Paris Paint Box: New and Selected Poems

By Helena Minton’70
Loom Press, 2022

Book cover for Paris Paint Box: New and Selected Poems brings together more than 45 years of Helena Minton’s poetry. The collection opens with new poems focused on the life and paintings of Berthe Morisot, one of a group of artists who became known as the Impressionists. Morisot was the only woman artist to exhibit her work at the First Impressionist Exhibition held in Paris in 1874.

Additional new poems focus on everyday moments and meditations on the past. The collection also features poems curated from Minton’s four previous books.

The director of a public library for many years, Minton lives north of Boston.
